Dear [firstname],
On Wednesday, April 13 at Noon, we're hosting a very special event: our 2022 Black Maternal Health Forum.
The Black Maternal Health Forum, hosted virtually on Zoom, is being held in recognition of Black Maternal Health Week, April 11-17, 2022.
You can attend the 2022 Black Maternal Health Forum by clicking here.
The event is designed to raise awareness of the issues that plague black mothers and to focus on the value of reproductive health for moms and babies of color. Join us to learn about the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act of 2021 and the disparities in maternal outcomes that exist for Black moms in North Carolina, who are 46% more likely to have a preterm birth than white women.
You can register for this free event by clicking here.
I encourage you to contact my office with any questions that you may have. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday at Noon on Zoom.
Sincerely,
Rep. Alma S. Adams, Ph.D.
